The Parents of Universal Performers Foundation
is a non-profit organization dedicated to
creating, fostering, and encouraging the
Performing Arts at Mission San Jose High School.
PUPs was formed 14 years ago as an off-shoot of
Mission Boosters. The foundation has grown
into a private entity that supports the
instrumental music, vocal music, and theater
programs of the high school community.
Over these years PUPs has
supplemented the poorly state-funded Performing Arts
curriculum with items such as scholarship opportunities,
professional clinicians, coaches, theatrical equipment,
musical instruments, and uniforms. Your donations will
help continue the long-standing tradition of support of the
arts at Mission San Jose High School. The Performing Arts
are an essential and under-funded part of education that
provides our young people with an important creative outlet.

Come to MSJ's
Little Theatre on April 16th to
experience a truly unique performance! MSJ's performing arts club, Universal
Performers (UP), is featuring HOOKSLIDE, an a cappella
group from San Francisco, withMSJHS and UP
alum Mayank Thanawala. They are returning after an almost
SOLD OUT and THRILLING performance last year! The show will
be opening with students from Mission's MUSICAL
THEATRE WORKSHOP and CHORALE
classes. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the
Performing Arts program at MSJHS. Come support your friends
and children! Don't miss out!
